I bought this lashing kit from boatcovers.com to use with the new cover I also bought from boatcovers.com. Both for my 16' Glastron.
First step was to rivet that stainless steel hooks to the sides of my trailer. 16 hooks were not enough to have hooks for the rear of the trailer. Will plan to use bungee cords there.
Second step was to thread the 50' bungee that comes with the kit through the eye loops in my boat cover. Started in on corner to the bow then back to the other corner.
Final step was to install the cover and stretch to bungee. Custom cover is a nice fit. But the bungee supplied on stretched to hooks on one side of the trailer and not the other.
Interesting concept but without a longer bungee this kit falls short of my expectations. I could have bought the 16 stainless steel hooks from www.mcmaster.com for $17.92 ($1.12 each).
